I would like to see the city work with our trash/recycle service provider to increase the size of the recycle container OR work towards authorizing a switch of the existing containers that are currently provided to residents so that the larger container is dedicated to recyclables and the smaller container is dedicated to trash. I find that more objects that get thrown out actually classify as recyclable instead of trash. Being a former resident of the City of O'Fallon Missouri we had equal size containers for both types of disposables. O'Fallon Missouri is a progressive city and knowing the aspirations of the City of Pacific I believe that this would be a good change to provided to residents in order to align with the goals of being a more progressive municipality.
